This Pot Still "W" uses only Wood Fired still and 100% Japanese barley. For this expression, not only is it a single malt whisky, it is also composed entirely of whiskies from a single pot still. Therefore, it is described as "single wash still whisky" which is unique to Shizuoka Distillery.
It is a "Japanese Single Malt Whisky" that meets the standards set by the Japan Spirits & Liqueurs Makers Association (JSLMA).
